The Jirah Collective is focused on creating long term relationships within each community that we work with. We are focused on creating pathways and ongoing mentorship for communities that enable an artist to develop their skills and the opportunities to continue to explore, engage and create in an interested art medium.

Our Women’s Arts Programs aims to connect and support women to tell their stories using both traditional and new art forms primarily in the photographic media. Our program is designed to develop and establish ongoing activities and programs that can be relevant to each communities unique area and build a skill set that can create further opportunities for an individual or community together.

Our Children’s Arts Programs are primarily facilitated for school holiday programs.

We offer fun, engaging programs providing children the opportunity to explore the world around them in a creative and healthy way.

MENTORING PROGRAMS - YOUTH ARTS PROGRAMS

YOUTH ARTS PROGRAMS

Specifically designed for youth age groups, the Youth Arts programs aim to positively engage youth through arts practices primarily through photography and media related activities.

Youth will be engaged through photo exploration outings, connecting to country through a visual lens, telling their story with the potential of exhibitions and further pathways within their community and broader.

Youth Programs can be offered in one to one or small group ratio’s.

Professional photography and media mentorship for arts workers in an Art Centre to establish and perform at professional photography standards.

Equipment setup, photography mentoring, artist bio’s, social media guide and tailored handbook specific to the mentoring outcome.

The Art Centre Media Program focusses on professional photography use for social media outcomes, the marketing and sales of art work and the promotion of artists conducted by the art centre.
